One Table. One Cause.

By Alex CantatoreJuly_August_Final_SeniorIssue_web

If you’re hosting a dinner fundraiser, it’s generally a bad idea to only have one table. Unless, of course, that table is 150 feet long.

One Table brought more than 200 diners to that massive table in Downtown Modesto on June 7, turning a block of 15th Street into the city’s largest outdoor dining room. Guests enjoyed food from Concetta, Vito’s Ristorante, Commonwealth, Redwood Caf., and Tacolicious.

The event was dreamed up by David Darmstandler, Co-Founder of Data Path Inc., after he attended a similar event in Utah. The event raised about $25,000 for the United Way of Stanislaus County’s Graduation Coach program, which looks to increase high school graduation rates.
