Nostalgic 80’S Musicals That’ll Make You Dance!

 

 

 

 

 

YES – Footloose

It’s time to get loose and kick off your Sunday shoes. Based on the famous 1984 movie, this production of Footloose brings all of the energy and classic songs of the film onto the stage right in front of you. Join city kid Ren McCormack as he brings the spirit of dance to a small town where dance has been outlawed. By the end of the show, you’ll be up on your feet.

Billy Elliot the Musical

This inspiring musical takes place in the mid-80s, in a mining town during the height of the miners’ strike. The show follows young Billy Elliot, who follows his dreams away from boxing and into ballet. With music by Elton John and choreography by Central West Ballet’s Rene Daveluy, Billy’s story is sure to move you.
