GREAT MUSIC COMES TO STANISLAUS COUNTY FAIR

An outstanding variety of musical acts are slated to perform at the 2018 Stanislaus County Fair on the Bud Light Variety Free Stage this year. Here’s the lineup:

 

 

Jul. 13 | JOHN MICHAEL MONTGOMERY

Known for tunes like “I Swear,” “I Love the Way You Love Me,” and “I Can Love You Like That,” John Michael Montgomery’s sentimental and beautiful storytelling is a favorite with country music fans.

 

Jul. 14 | KOOL & THE GANG

An iconic, award-winning R&B group, Kool & The Gang is famous for songs like “Celebration,” “Cherish,” “Jungle Boogie,” “Summer Madness,” “Open Sesame,” and “Ladies Night.”

 

Jul. 15 | LA SÉPTIMA BANDA

One of the most influential bands in regional Mexican music, the 17-piece, Latin Grammy-nominated La Séptima Banda is known for amazing records like “Que Tonteria.”

 

 

Jul. 16 | TRACE ADKINS

Trace Adkins’ trademark baritone voice is featured in country hits such as “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” “(This Ain’t) No Thinkin’ Thing,” “Ladies Love Country Boys,” and “You’re Gonna Miss This.”

 

Jul. 17 | BLUE OYSTER CULT

One of the very few hard rock/heavy metal bands to earn both genuine mainstream critical acclaim, Blue Oyster Cult achieved success with tunes like “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper,” “Godzilla,” and “Burnin’ for You.”

 

Jul. 18 | LIFEHOUSE

With songs in the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100, Alternative, Adult Top 40, Mainstream Top 40, Adult Contemporary and Adult Pop charts, Lifehouse’s hit singles include “You and Me,” “First Time,” “Whatever it Takes,” “Broken,” “Halfway Gone,” “Between the Raindrops,” and “Hurricane.”

 

 

Jul. 19 | SALT-N-PEPA

Hip-hop pioneers Salt-N-Pepa broke barriers and opened doors for future generations of women in the industry with their hit songs, “Push It,” “Shoop,” and “Whatta Man.”

 

 

Jul. 20 | EASTON CORBIN

Easton Corbin has made a lasting impression on the country music landscape with country hits like “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll with It.”

 

Jul. 21 | GRAND FUNK RAILROAD

Known as “The American Band” since the 1970s, Grand Funk Railroad pleases audiences with its signature hard-driving sound, soulful vocals, muscular instrumentation, and forceful pop melodies.

 

Jul. 22 | PABLO MONTERO

A popular Latin American vocalist and actor, Pablo Montero is known for writing songs like “Olvidarte Jamas,” “Gata Salvaje,” and “Abrazame Muy Fuerte.”

 

Main stage concerts are free with the price of Fair admission and begin at 8:30 p.m. Concerts are open seating on a space available basis and acts are subject to change without notice.
