Fresh Food, Delivered to Your Doorstep

It can be tough to eat healthy at home. Finding time to cook can be a challenge, especially when catering to different family members’ tastes and diets.

Enter Greens Underground Kitchen, a new, custom food delivery service that offers farm-to- fork cuisine, delivered to customers’ doorsteps.

Greens has brought fresh, wholesome food to Stanislaus County since 2011. Using just-picked produce from Four Seasons Farm – owner Ann Endsley’s own organic farm – Greens provides phenomenal food grown, made and processed locally.

Screen Shot 2015-05-05 at 2.09.51 PMAlready, two successful restaurants and a catering service bear the Greens name. With the addition of Underground Kitchen, which launches this spring, customers will have an easy, formalized way to take Greens’ cuisine home.

“Greens has been cooking prepared meals for our customers since we started (Greens) Market. People would come in and see all the prepared food and ask if we could make things vegan or gluten-free or whatever they need.” Endsley said. “We’ve known there was a need for a service that could provide food for people on a weekly basis. So we decided to formalize it and develop a website where people can order the food they need.”

After its May launch, customers can visit to select from a huge range of prepared meals cScreen Shot 2015-05-05 at 2.08.34 PMreated by Greens staff, then schedule a convenient weekly delivery or pickup.

Endsley sees the service as a solution for families on the go.

“It’s hard sometimes for families to cook to the tastes of all the different members, especially when each member wants to eat differently.”

With Underground Kitchen, Greens aims to solve this weeknight conundrum, while sticking to the farm-driven values it was founded on.

“Underground Kitchen’s menu will be driven by what’s in-season at the farm,” says Endsley. “We’ll have the ability to really build menus from week- to-week based on what we have at the farm.”

And the service isn’t limited to one diet, either.

“We’re not all vegan orScreen Shot 2015-05-05 at 2.09.26 PM only vegetarian or just clean,” says Endsley. “What we’re all about is just real, high-quality food that’s fresh and delicious.”
