The Jets and Sharks are dancing their way to the Gallo Center this April!

West Side Story is one of the most well loved musicals of all time. From its 1957 Broadway premier, this classic musical take on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet has entranced audiences across the world with heartfelt music, incredible choreography and timeless meditations on themes of love, hate and difference.
You may be familiar with the Oscar-winning movie from the 1960s, but nothing can compare to the power of the original stage production. The show has produced countless glowing review over more than six decades of performances which laud the extraordinary choreography created by Jerome Robbins and the iconic score by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim which is widely considered one of the finest ever produced on Broadway. The show features classic songs of American musical theatre including “Something’s Coming,” “Tonight,” “America,” “I Feel Pretty” and “Somewhere.”

If you loved any of the DreamWorks Shrek films, you won’t want to miss this live stage production of Shrek The Musical coming to the Gallo Center for the Arts stage in March.

Shrek The Musical brings the first Shrek film to singing, dancing, belly-laugh-inducing life. Revisit this hilarious tale about everyone’s favorite ogre, his wise cracking donkey sidekick and the adventure that changed both of their lives!
This stage adaptation of the popular movie features 19 all new songs, big laughs, great dancing and breathtaking scenery. It’s part romance, part twisted fairy tale and all irreverent fun for audiences of all ages!
